Research focus
The project examines socio-economic flood vulnerability across sixteen highly flood-affected districts of Bihar. It integrates flood-hazard information, field investigation, socio-economic indicators, spatial data transformation and GIS-based multi-criteria decision analysis.
Work in development
The research is developing village-level vulnerability models and a composite socio-economic vulnerability atlas in GIS format. The public availability and completion status of individual outputs will be added when confirmed by project records.

Research focus
TRANSCEND examines transformation decisions for adaptation and sustainability in the face of environmental and socio-economic change. My work contributes to the study of urban climate risk, participatory scenario-downscaling and adaptation pathways in Mumbai.
Decision relevance
The collaboration connects the analysis of future vulnerability with the questions decision-makers face when considering adaptation pathways and science–policy interfaces.
